When a check-in sign helps
A check-in sign does its work before anyone reaches the attendant: residents arrive with their fob or card already out, guests know they’ll be asked who they’re with, and the person at the desk isn’t the first to explain the rule. It matters most at pools with a staffed entrance, a guest limit, or a history of non-residents walking in.
Post one at eye level on the outside of the entry gate and a second at the check-in table. If your community uses a guest pass, pair this sign with the free guest pass template.
Printing it
Letter and Tabloid print on any office printer; laminate them or slip them into a clear sign holder for outdoor use. For a fence or gate, order the 18 × 24 in or 24 × 36 in size from a print shop on coroplast or aluminum composite — the PDF is vector, so it stays sharp at any size. Rules signs are usually posted at 18 × 24 in.
A note on required signs
House signs like this one don’t replace the signs your state or county health code requires. Some codes set exact wording and minimum letter heights (several inches for certain warnings), so check your local pool code — or ask your pool management company — before you rely on a printed sign.
