What goes on a guest pass

The default lines cover what an attendant needs at the gate: the resident responsible, their address or unit, the guest names, how many guests, the date the pass is good for and who issued it. Add or remove lines — one per line — and keep the fine print to the one rule that matters most, usually that guests stay with their resident.

Turn on the pass number box if you log passes, so a lost pass can be matched to the household it was issued to.

Printing passes

Choose Letter · 2 passes per sheet for a regular printer and cut along the dashed line, or 4 × 6 for index card stock. Heavier paper (65–110 lb cardstock) holds up better at a wet pool deck.

Questions

Pool guest pass FAQ

What information should a pool guest pass have?
The resident’s name and address or unit, the guest names and count, the date the pass is valid, who issued it, and a short rule such as “guests must be accompanied by the resident”.
Can I number the passes?
Yes. Turn on the pass number box and the pass prints a “No. ____” field in the header for you to fill in.
How many passes fit on a page?
Two per Letter sheet, with a dashed cut line. You can also print one pass on a 4 × 6 in card.

Signs set the rules. Attendants keep them.

The Pool Attendant Company staffs HOA and community pools with trained attendants who check people in, apply guest limits and log every incident.
