Close the season without the questions

The end of the season brings the same calls every year — is it open this weekend, where did my kid’s goggles go, when does it open next year. Put each answer on its own line. A firm date for collecting floats and chairs keeps the deck from becoming storage over the winter.

Once the gate is locked, post the pool closed sign with the reopening date.

Printing and sharing

Print Letter or A4 for mailboxes and the pool gate, Tabloid for the clubhouse. The PDF also works as an email attachment or a newsletter insert.

Questions

Pool closing for the season flyer FAQ

When should we post the pool closing flyer?
Two weeks before the last day, so residents can plan the final weekend and collect their things.
Can I use it for a mid-season closure?
For a short closure, the pool closed sign is a better fit: it states the reason and the reopening date.

Signs set the rules. Attendants keep them.

The Pool Attendant Company staffs HOA and community pools with trained attendants who check people in, apply guest limits and log every incident.
